(1) Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary specail HD

In late November 2001, the CBS television network aired a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson’s thirtieth year as a solo entertainer (his first solo single, “Got to Be There”, was recorded in 1971). The show was edited from footage of two separate concerts Michael had orchestrated in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 7 and September 10 of 2001. The shows sold out in five hours. Ticket prices were pop’s most expensive ever; the best seats cost $5000 and included a dinner with Michael Jackson and a signed poster. Jackson reportedly earned $7.5 million for each of the two concerts, which is over $150000 per minute. The show ranked first in black viewers over the decade ending 2008. All copyrights go to Sony/BMG apart from the SJ logo. This is also specail cause not only do you get jackson 5 but jackson 6 all the brother reunite as one for the first time.

  • michael is the only person i know that made the whole world stop when he died. he is truly a legend and he will always be in my heart for as long as i live. and being at one of his concerts was a blessing; to be in the same room as a legend is something amazing. that is one experience i will never forget in my life. “This Is It” wouldve been the first tour i would’ve went on.

  • Jermaine on bass? Why playback? Or at the very least they had the MAIN bass player behind the curtains. Jermaine is cool but… Didn’t get enough solo spots for vocals, he had to do something.
